Lillie was born and raised in New York City and holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her areas of interest include harm reduction and injection drug user health, sexual health and gender equality, mass incarceration and de-incarceration, intersectional feminism, sustainable agriculture and food politics, menstruation, making art, baking bread, dope beats and dope beets, and learning about rad people doing cool stuff. Lillie does the art and design for The Birds ‘n the Butts, so get in touch with your questions, concerns, and affirmations about what we’re doing and what you’re looking at (or if you want to talk commissions and t-shirt or tattoo designs!).
Steffani was born and raised in New York City, but found her home in New Orleans, LA. She holds a B.A. from Tulane University and an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Public Health. She has a decade of experience in sexual health education and HIV prevention, and is particularly passionate about making safer sex sexy, fourth wave feminism, reproductive justice, harm reduction, youth advocacy, hanging out with dogs, the Deep South, eating bread that Lillie bakes, and dancing to 90s hip hop. Steffani is a curriculum design specialist in sexual health education and is the content designer for The Birds ‘n the Butts.
